Holla there folks, a nice little look at one of the unsung Tolkien works today, that is of course Mr Bliss! I first discovered the existence of this book in the Waterstones book shop in Oban on what will now be know as Scotland trip Round 1: The Awakening (The week we spent up there in the snow in February!)

    Until seeing it there on the shelf, I had literally no idea that this even existed and seeing it in it’s fancy little box cover I immediately knew it was a special book. Then when me and my friend took the case off and saw just how awesome it was inside I immediately had to call dibs on it as being my find and therefore my purchase! They have high quality scans of Tolkiens original hand written/drawn manuscript which are absolutely stunning, to see exactly how he wrote it and where he crossed things out or missed a word and then added them in again is a unique look into the works of Tolkien.
